Cole Kleppinger

Mr. Kleppinger is an Associate at Meridian Capital Group’s Midtown office, where he focuses on landlord and tenant representation across New York City’s retail landscape. Since joining Meridian in 2024, Cole has executed a wide range of diverse leases, such as ground-floor storefronts, community facilities, and office/retail hybrids. He has become a go-to advisor for food & beverage, personal care, and lifestyle tenants, consistently creating long-term value for landlords and occupiers alike – with notable tractions in Harlem, Chelsea, and the Upper East Side.

Cole has completed over 20 lease transactions in just his first year, totaling more than 25,000 square feet of retail space. His recent deals include the 3,500 SF flagship lease for “Renew York Spa” at 541 Sixth Avenue in Flatiron, “Kelly’s Pub” at 1154 Second Avenue in the Upper East Side at $124/SF, and “Casa Colven” at 79 Clinton Street on the Lower East Side at $80/SF. He also brokered leases for “Uka Omakase” at 238 East 60^th Street and “Altamirano’s Italian Ristorante” at 1479 York Avenue in the Upper East Side, and multiple locations in Harlem.

Prior to joining Meridian, Cole was in Procurement as a Packaging Buyer at DuPont, where he managed a global spend portfolio of $20MM and achieved over $1MM in savings through strategic sourcing and negotiation.

Cole holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management from Pennsylvania State University with a Minor in Information Systems Management.
