David Oheb

Managing Director

David Oheb is a Managing Director at Meridian Capital Group and serves as Head of the firm’s Los Angeles office. He leads Meridian’s Southern California platform, advising owners, developers, and institutional clients on commercial real estate debt and capital markets strategies focused on value creation across individual investments and broader portfolios. Mr. Oheb joined Meridian in 2013 at the firm’s New York headquarters and has been promoted multiple times over his tenure. At the time of his promotion, he was the youngest Managing Director at the firm. In 2020, he relocated to Los Angeles to help build and lead Meridian’s West Coast presence.

Mr. Oheb advises clients across all commercial asset classes, including multifamily, office, retail, industrial, and specialty-use properties, with particular depth in complex transitional and ground-up construction transactions. He maintains relationships across the full spectrum of capital sources, including balance sheet banks, debt funds, life companies, agency lenders, and private credit providers, and is known for structuring tailored capital solutions that enhance pricing, flexibility, and certainty of execution. His practice primarily serves large private family offices and institutional owners with portfolios concentrated in major U.S. markets, particularly Los Angeles and New York City.

Over the course of his career, Mr. Oheb has negotiated and closed more than $2 billion in commercial real estate financings across hundreds of transactions, frequently involving complex capital structures and time-sensitive executions. He is currently ranked among the top debt brokers in Southern California by transaction count by Traded LA. His transactions have been featured in leading industry publications, including Commercial Observer, The Real Deal, Traded, and the New York Real Estate Journal.

Mr. Oheb has been recognized by leading industry publications for his accomplishments, including being named a 2024 Commercial Observer Top Young Professional in Finance, and has previously received recognition from the Young Mortgage Bankers Association. He is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, the Mortgage Bankers Association, and the National Multifamily Housing Council, and is involved in philanthropic and community organizations including the Iranian American Jewish Federation and Magbit.

Mr. Oheb earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Boston University Questrom School of Business, where he triple-concentrated in real estate, finance, and business law, and minored in Judaic Studies. He is widely regarded for his disciplined execution, lender access, and ability to structure favorable financing terms that support long-term investment performance and portfolio growth.
