Dorian Aftalion

Vice President

Dorian Aftalion is a Vice President at Meridian Capital Group and specializes in placing debt for commercial real estate assets nationwide. Based in the firm’s Los Angeles office, she is deeply involved in the underwriting, structuring, and execution of complex financings across all major asset classes, including multifamily, retail, industrial, land, and office. Her expertise spans a broad range of transaction types, including construction (horizontal and vertical), acquisition, land, bridge, and refinancing.

With ten years of experience in commercial real estate, Dorian is known for her ability to navigate complex capital structures and works closely with both clients and capital providers to deliver tailored financing solutions. Prior to joining Meridian, Dorian worked with both institutional and private real estate sponsors, giving her a holistic perspective on deal execution and borrower needs.

Dorian holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California. Beyond her day-to-day responsibilities, she is actively engaged in the commercial real estate community. She served as Chair of ULI’s Mentorship Forum, is the Real Estate Chair of the Milken Alumni Board, a member of Arche Women in Commercial Real Estate, and frequently speaks on panels focused on leadership and industry development.

Dorian was honored in April 2025 as a GlobeSt. Woman of Influence, in recognition of both her professional contributions and her impact on the next generation of industry talent. Her continued excellence, both internally and externally, makes her a standout leader in Southern California’s CRE landscape.
