Eugene Salganik
Vice President
Eugene Salganik joined Meridian in 2025 and currently serves as a Vice President in the company’s Skokie office. He is responsible for the origination and placement of loans across a broad array of property types, including multifamily, office, retail, industrial, and SBA loans throughout the United States. Prior to joining Meridian, Eugene served as President of two mortgage companies and sat on the Board of Advisors for Freddie Mac, several banks, and a private mortgage insurance company.
Over the course of his career, Eugene has negotiated millions of dollars in residential and commercial financing, covering single-family residences, multifamily, office, retail, industrial, and other property types across the United States. Notable financing transactions he has negotiated include funding for a start-up medical business in Florida (SBA 504 loan), multifamily buildings in Chicago, and a retail center in Chicago.
Eugene holds an MBA in Real Estate Finance from the Kellstadt Graduate School of Business and a BSBA in Finance from Drake University. He also serves as an Economic Development Commissioner in Skokie and has been recognized by numerous national and international film festivals for his animated feature, Requiem for Greed.
