Thomas Donovan
Senior Managing Director
Mr. Donovan joined Meridian in 2023 and currently serves as the President of Queens Investment Sales in the company’s Battery Park, NY office. He is a specialist in the sale of multifamily, mixed-use, retail, industrial, and development properties throughout New York City.
Prior to joining Meridian, Mr. Donovan was a Partner and Vice Chairman at B6 Real Estate Advisors where he was responsible for territory management, business development, real estate advisory services, and sales. Prior to joining B6, Mr. Donovan spent 4 years as Vice Chairman in the Capital Markets Group of Cushman & Wakefield and 17 years at Massey Knakal Realty Services.
Over the course of his career, Mr. Donovan has sold more than $2.6 billion in commercial real estate and over 650 properties sold.
Mr. Donovan attended St. John’s University, where he studied business management. He also served in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve. As a member of the 8th Marine Regiment, Mr. Donovan was an influencing force in Operation Desert Shield and Desert Storm. The tenacity, courage, and determination he displayed while in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait awarded him a Combat Action Ribbon. He is also a member of REBNY – Commercial Board of Directors, Columbus Citizens Foundation, VFW — Catholic War Veterans, and The Brain Tumor Foundation. Mr. Donovan has been recognized by B6 as a top producer, a finalist for REBNY’s Most Ingenious Deal of the Year in 2019, GlobeSt.com’s Top Influencer in Multifamily, Star Network’s King of Queens, Real Estate Forum’s Top Broker, a Top Sales Broker by CoStar Group, and Crain’s New York Business’ 40 Under 40 List.
